Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the K-Source Snap and Zap custom fit towing mirrors here on a 2017 Toyota Sequoia. Now for starters, in regards to fit, you need to be aware that these particular custom fit towing mirrors do not fit the platinum or the limited models. But every other model or sub model, you're gonna be good with whether it's the SR5, the SR, or so forth. So here is what our towing mirrors look like installed in the vehicle. And to be honest, if you didn't know what a towing mirror was, you probably wouldn't be able to tell this apart from the factory mirrors, and that's due to the custom fit design here. It's gonna match all these body lines to make for a very tight fit, and it's also gonna have pretty much the same color as these little moldings here. more

So, for starters, in regards to fit, these are only gonna fit the SR5 models, but thankfully that's the most common trim level, so it's gonna fit the majority of Sequoias out there. Unfortunately for you Platinum and Limited owners these are gonna be not a fit. You'll have to look at other options, such as the universal ones. So here's what our towing mirrors look like installed. Now, right away you're gonna notice it's the same material as the factory side mirror molding, so it's gonna provide us with the best overall factory-like appearance. more

Hey everyone, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the K-Source Snap & Zap Custom Fit Towing Mirrors here on a 2020 Toyota Tundra. Now let's show you how well they really work. So, I'm just standing directly beside the trailer here. You can see I'm easily visible in the factory mirror, so not a problem. Where the problem arises is, if I step out a couple feet here sort of mirroring your blind spot, let's say we're traveling out on the highway, we need to get over to get our exit but we really can't see what's going on in the other lane beside our trailer. So these are where these towing mirrors, in my opinion at least, really come into play the most. more

Today on our 2022 Toyota Tundra we're gonna be taking a look at the K-Source Clip-On Universal Towing Mirrors. Not only is this gonna allow you to see the longer loads that you are hauling. It's also gonna keep everybody else safe on the road, so you can see them a little bit better and that's just gonna keep everybody much more safe and you're not gonna be white cloning around the wheel, constantly turning around to see if everything's okay. Now you got two mirrors on both sides to see whatever you want. Our mirror's pretty big. So it's gonna be about 7 3/4 inches long and about 5 1/8 inches wide. more

These are strap-on towing mirrors, and we're taking a look at them on our 2015 Toyota 4Runner. So if you have your 4Runner and you're ready to go on an adventure, but you're also towing a trailer, an RV, or in our case, a boat, what may happen is as you drive down the highway, you need an extended field of view because as you switch lanes, your factory mirror is usually not enough to see the lane behind you where your trailer is. Hi, I'm Shane with etrailer.com. Today, I'm going to walk you through how to install the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors on your 2018 Toyota Tundra. What these mirrors are going to do for you, it's going to give you that edit site distance that you otherwise wouldn't have with your factory mirrors when pulling a trailer. I'm about six car lengths from the back of the trailer right now, if I move over just a little bit to the side, I'm just about even with the back of the trailer. Again, still six car lengths, but you can still see with these new mirrors that extend out, we have plenty of sight distance back behind our trailer. They are a temporary option so everything you see here is removable, and they're all designed in such a way that they won't harm or scratch your mirror housing, and they're all designed with your blinker in mind, so you'll still have full access to your side blinkers on your mirrors.Just to give you an idea of the benefit you're going to see from towing mirrors on your RAV4, keep in mind your RAV4 is rated between 1,500 and 3500 pounds for towing, depending on the options you have installed. more

Today, we have a 2020 Toyota Tundra and we have some cool Custom Fit Slip-On CIPA Towing Mirrors.Not only is this going to just widen your view, to be able to see some of the longer loads you may be hauling, it's also going to eliminate a lot of those blind spots that those factory mirrors won't be able to show you. It's going to give you peace of mind going down the road, so you're not just white knuckling, the wheel, just guessing whatever's going on behind you. It's going to keep your stuff safe and everybody else too.We are going to get both a driver's side and passenger side mirror with this kit and they're going to come with one big old mirror here and it is going to be able to pivot right and left, up and down. So you're going to be able to adjust it exactly how you need it, to be able to see whatever load you may be hauling.It's not really going to add a whole lot of length to our mirrors. more

To really give you a better feel of how these towing mirrors increase your visibility, we're going to be standing directly beside a trailer here, which as you can see, we are clearly seen in the factory mirror housings. However, if we we're to step over a few feet to simulate our blind spot, as you can see we're no longer visible from the factory mirror when we are able to be seen here from our aftermarket towing mirrors.In regards to universal towing mirrors, this K Source option is by far my favorite. There's a couple of reasons why this is my favorite. Number one, we have a dual lens mirror face here, which is going to give us an increased view of our trailer, in particular our blind spot, via the blind spot mirror on the side. more

We're going to be taking a look at these CIPA universal fit dual view towing mirrors here for our 2020 Toyota RAV4.To really help you understand how much an improvement these aftermarket towing mirrors are, here for our RAV4, we're going to be standing directly beside the trailer, which as you can see, we're still visible in our factory side mirror. However, if we we're to step to the left a few feet, which would simulate our blind spot, we're no longer visible from the factory side mirror, but now we can clearly see with the aftermarket towing mirror.What I really like about these CIPA towing mirrors here is that we have this dual mirror face. With both of the mirror faces being adjustable independently, up and down, and side to side. Now the benefit of this dual mirror faces, we're going to have a much better view of our trailer, the blind spots in particular so we can safely merge in traffic.As we can see here we have a nice and tight fit on the back of our factory mirrors here. We don't have to worry about any damage to our factory mirror housing as well. more

We're going to be taking a look at the CIPA Universal Towing Mirrors here for our 2020 Toyota RAV4.So to show you some benefits here that our towing mirrors are going to offer when we're out on the road, if we need to change lanes, generally speaking, we're going to have a pretty large blind spot with our trailer here. We're not going to be able to see cars coming upon us when we do need to merge over. However, these towing mirrors are going to be the perfect solution for that because they're going to essentially get rid of the blind spot with our trailer here. As you can see, I'm stepping to the side of the trailer where I'm still visible all the way until we get back to our factory mirrors.So what I really like about these CIPA towing mirrors, as you can see, we have a very large mirror face here, seven and a half inches by five inches. So this is going to give us a very wide view of our trailer. more

Now here's what our towing mirror looks like once we have it installed. Obviously what a towing mirror is going to do for you is it's going to give you an extended field of view so when you're towing a trailer, it will prevent you from having to stick your head out the window and look back at those tires. It's also going to help if we need to change lanes, just make our life a lot easier and smoother when we're driving down the road, because we'll know exactly what's going on around us.But what's really going to make these towing mirrors stand out compared to the other ones, is that it is a custom fit design. So it's going to wrap around our existing mirror on our Tundra and that black plastic is going to match really nicely with the factory plastic on our mirror, so it almost looks like it's a factory addition to the mirror. Since our towing mirror is going to slide over our factory mirror, we're not going to have to worry about any kind of interference. more

Today, on our 2011 Toyota Sienna, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CIPA universal fit towing mirror, which is also sold as a set. Our towing mirror is really going to expand our field of view, and that's going to be especially useful when we're making those lane changes, backing up into a tight parking spot, or even just wanting to keep a better eye on what's going on behind us. As you can see, I'm visible in our towing mirror, but not in our factory mirror. That's going to give you an idea of just how much more you're going to be able to see, but if I take a few steps closer to our trailer, I'll disappear out of the towing mirror, and become visible in our factory mirror, and that's going to help eliminate any of those blind spots.Now, one of the things that I noticed in comparison to some of the other towing mirrors is the clarity of our lens. The picture is going to be very sharp, and not foggy like some of the other ones. more

This is particularly useful when merging onto the highway, as well as when changing lanes.Our mirror can adjust both vertically and horizontally, and it can also rotate to suit your specific needs. When the mirror's installed, our factory mirror, will still have full adjustment, and the breakaway function will still work, but our mirror will come into contact with the trim when fully pushed in. more

You can also rotate the mirror to have the longer length be vertical by loosening the screw located on the back side. Once you've got it where you want it, just tighten the screw back down.While the mirror is installed, your factory mirror can still be adjusted in all directions. more

This is particularly useful when merging onto the highway, changing lanes or during parking maneuvers.This universal towing mirror can be adjusted both vertically and horizontally, and if you'd like a wider plane of view, you can rotate it until it's horizontal. While it's installed, you can still adjust your factory mirror, and the breakaway function of the mirror can still be utilized without contacting the body of the vehicle.It's held onto your mirror with two rubber straps. The rubber material won't cause any scratches or abrasions to the back of your mirror and help hold it in place, and while it's installed, you'll still have full visibility of your mirror side marker.What's nice about these also is that they can be quickly changed from one vehicle to another if you've got multiple vehicles or multiple trailers that you use.We'll begin our installation by lining up the hooks with our towing mirror edges here and holding it in place. We'll then bring the straps around the back side and clip them on the hooks on the top. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Toyota Rav Four, we're gonna be doing a test fit on the K source universal dual lens clip on towing mirrors. These are sold as a pair, with part number KS3990. It offers us a wide field of view, it's gonna allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a small trailer or camper.As you can see I'm visible in the towing mirror, but not the factory mirror. Between the two mirrors on the towing mirror, we've got the larger and smaller one. The smaller one is gonna act more as a spot mirror. It's gonna give us more of an accurate view of what's behind us, while the larger one is gonna help us during changing and passing lanes.Now, if I take a few steps in towards my trailer, as you can see, there's no blind spot. more
